Baptism by FIRE!!!
This last week was a crazy one for me because my boss went in to have some tests run on his heart and has found out he has a thing called ''sudden death syndrome". This means that his heart could just stop working all of a sudden and he would die. Well, he went in for surgery on Wednesday, last week, and had a defibulator put in. This is so if his heart does stop beating, he will receive a shock to his heart, to start it back up again. We all thought he would be back to work this Wednesday, but I just found out that he will be out for the rest of the month. This means I will be taking over his morning shift and one of our high school students will be locking up the building at night. I don't know very much about how to fix the problems in the school, or how to order things, or put in work orders to the district, but I am learning a lot and now I need to learn faster. It gets frustrating at times, but what job doesn't? My district boss came in to see how I was doing today and told me that he has full confidence in me and knows I will do a great job. I guess my supervisor, who is the one that is teaching me everything, has told the district boss that I am great, I just need the training. I have only had one class for training, and that was last week when my supervisor found out I hadn't had any training. So I think it is definitely safe to say I am being baptized by fire into this job. I am praying for the snow to stay away for this month because I will have to be to work at 5am to get all the plowing done. AHHHHH!!!

Okay girl, you got it... no snow till you are trained and ready to go!! Or until your boss comes back. You will do a great job and probably get a promotion too. What a blessing; the church is true!!
Good luck, learning a new job is always challenging. I know I always dread it.
What!? You have to get ALL the plowing done?! For the whole school parking lot? Sidewalks? Yikes! Kudos to you Laurie. I hope they are sending a little extra cash-o-la your way for all of your extra hard work!
Loveyou!
If your being baptized by fire, let me confirme you with my confidence that you'll do a great job!
You're mean, you know! It's a wonder I still love you anyway!
