Hair Cut

I decided I needed a change with my hair so I went shorter than I have since I have been able to choose my hairstyle. It has actually grown out quite a bit since these pictures but I think I liked it so much that it will be like this for a while. Or at least until I get bored of it again. :)

Chloe Comes To Visit

Chloe decided to visit me on Saturday night. She was on her way home to St. George, but just had to stop and see her Auntie! She wanted to play peek-a-boo in the middle of the night. I had to work at the high school during a dance and Chloe, accompanied by her Parents, Howard and Shaley, came to keep me company and share some ice cream with me at the end of the night. Poor Howard didn't feel well, so they all decided to spend the night in my living room. My roommates and I stayed up to play peek-a-boo and watch Chloe walk. She was super tired, but you could never tell, since she is such a happy girl. Most of you know I love baby boys, but I can't help but fall in love the baby girls in my life.

Here are a couple pictures too. Sorry this one is a little blurry.

Happy Birthday, Harward!

My roommate Harward (a.k.a. Heather) had her birthday on April 13th. She
asked me and my roommate Birkrem (a.k.a. Bryana) to take work off that day so we could spend the day together. First she wanted to go hiking so we went up to Ensign Peak. It had rained the whole night so it was very muddy, but totally fun. Here are some pictures of our travels.
This is Harward and I getting ready to leave for the hike.

This is Harward and Birkrem at the base of Ensign Peak.

This is Harward and I about 5 minutes into the hike. We were taking a break cause we were totally out of breathe. We are eating fruit snacks and pretzels. Birkrem says we are tired cause we are so old, but turns out I am the youngest. :)

This is the Monument at Ensign Peak.

This is the Beautiful view from Ensign Peak. Wait... not the two beautiful girls sitting in front of it, it's behind us! :)

This is the funniest part of the hike... So I was wearing the pants that I wanted to wear the rest of the day, so since it was very muddy out I had to roll the legs up and walk very carefully. Well turns out this hike happened to be kind of steep and when you mix steep with mud it doesn't look pretty. This picture is of me determined to not get my pants dirty as I slipped from the other side of the trail, started running/sliding down the hill to get to the other side. I did everything in my power to stay off my knees, butt, or any part of my pants! I ended up with my backpack over my head, and my hands in the snow, but that was no big deal. At least my pants stayed clean! :)
Thanks for a great day off of work Harward! Totally worth every laugh!

Itsy bisty teeny weeny bikini

As many of you know I am going through Massage Therapy school. I LOVE it!!! However, there is one class that I have that I call my "naked" class because I have to wear a bikini. At first I was not sure about the whole thing, but it really isn't that bad. The worst part is seeing myself so unclothed, but most of the time I am just laying on the table, so I am not the one doing the seeing. :) Well last night I had my final in that class, but before I tell you how it went, I have a story. So Last Wednesday we had to work the abdomen which got pretty personal, but one thing we worked was the Psoas muscle, which is actually attached to your spine, but you have to get to it through the abdomen. Well I guess this one girl in my class, has not had a BM since we did that class. (7 DAYS!!!) So she asked the teacher what she should do and he said, "Who is a good therapist? Ok, have either Rigel or Lauri work on your Psoas." Wow, that was awesome to hear. Anyway, not to toot my own horn, but needless to say, I got an A. :)

Life Goals

Where does the time go in life? It seems to just crawl along and then all of a sudden you are 26 and a half, sitting in your bed wondering what the heck am i doing with my life? I have a job that pays the bills, and go to school to further my education and hopefully it will help me start my career, but what am I really doing to make myself happy? It seems that all I do is go to work, school, and sleep. I have some fun on the weekends, but when it comes to starting the week over, I just dread it! (Maybe I am just annoyed with the baby upstairs that is crying at the top of his lungs and I can't fall asleep, cause his room is directly above mine.) Anyway, I don't want this to be a total downer blog, so I will share some good news. I got to go to Minnesota for Christmas which was a lot of fun. I spent time with my family and adopted family and I painted the ceiling in my parents kitchen, so it is white again. On the 1st I flew back and drove down to St. George on the 2nd, to see my new niece, Chloe. She is so adorable and the best part is, she has dimples, just like me. :) My Parents came out to see her and then they came up to Salt Lake on Saturday to get massages, while I was at clinic. I was able to give my mom a massage, which she enjoyed, and my dad loved his too. They left after I took them to Texas Roadhouse. They had never been and it is the best steak place EVER!!! Well that's about it for me, I will try to get some sleep but I'm thinking it might take a while. CRYING BABIES, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, ARE GREAT BIRTH CONTROL!!!!
